American Wellness Authority is a real US-based company selling red light therapy and far-infrared sauna products. Real founder (Sam Shrem). Real US team. Real Shopify store (Shopify processes payment, not us). Real customer service.
We're not the biggest brand in red light therapy — Joovv, Mito, Omnilux, HigherDose, and others have been around longer with bigger budgets. We're newer. That's a fair concern to weigh.

Is the product FDA cleared?
Our LX300 LED face mask is FDA 510(k) cleared for home use (acne treatment). That's the strongest FDA status: a real device review, not just facility registration. Our other LED therapy products are manufactured in FDA-registered facilities. Our sauna blankets are wellness products, not medical devices — we don't claim FDA clearance for them.
Is there independent third-party testing?
Yes — our LX300 mask has an independent EVERFINE HAAS-1200 spectrum test (June 2026) showing real measured wavelengths. We publish that data on the Before You Buy page. Most red light brands don't have third-party testing. Our other products: we're working on getting them independently tested too.
Are the customer reviews real?
Yes — reviews on PDPs are verified-buyer reviews via Judge.me, the standard Shopify review app. We don't pay for fake reviews. We don't pay for paid posts. If a review is critical, it stays up.
Is FSA/HSA eligibility for real?
