It Started With Pain That Wouldn't Quit.

Every day was a struggle. Work, family, and back pain that seemed to overshadow every move. There had to be something better than another pill, another procedure, another wellness fad that promised everything and delivered nothing.

Then I discovered red light therapy.

The science was promising — really promising. Thousands of peer-reviewed studies, decades of clinical use, a clean safety profile, real mechanisms in real cells. But every device I tried fell into one of two camps: either it cost $3,000 and looked like it belonged in a medical office, or it was a $40 plastic thing that didn't actually do anything except light up.

I kept thinking: why isn't there a middle? Clinical wavelengths. Real irradiance. Thoughtful design. A price that respects the customer. A company that actually cares whether you get better.

So We Built It.

Hundreds of hours of research. Engineering specs, sourcing decisions, wavelength testing, irradiance measurement, EMF audits, clinical-quality LED chips, real warranties, real support. Many prototypes. Many adjustments. Many late nights.

I shared early units with family and friends who were also living with pain, with skin they wanted to feel better in, with bodies that didn't bounce back the way they used to. Their feedback was the moment I knew we were onto something. They didn't just like the devices — they kept using them. They told friends. They came back asking about more products. They wanted us to bring this to more people.

That's how American Wellness Authority started.

Where We're Going

We're investing in U.S. manufacturing — our facility opens in 2027. We're building a medical advisory board so our content is reviewed by clinicians, not just marketers. We're expanding our device line based on what real customers ask us for. And we're keeping the part that matters most: a care team you can actually reach.
